In these times, what we do is more important than ever. While some people need art to decorate a space and others as an investment, the process of choosing an artwork is almost always a deeply subconscious one. We are sensitive to the fact that most people choose their artwork because they subconsciously connect with it at a visceral level. It could be the colour palette, theme or the emotion that the painting is trying to convey.

We keep it real for our clients. For our individual patrons, we make an effort to understand their personal style and sensibility so that the artwork adds personality to their space. Interior designers may commission art that fits in the color scheme of their project, while corporate clients might want to “brand” the piece with corporate colors, to complement their visual identity.

PERSONALISATION

Tesoro prides itself on creating custom pieces that have been inspired by your taste or memories. We will collaborate with you to understand your story and create mood boards for easy visualization. Tesoro will then provide key inputs to the artist to bring your idea or reference image to life.

For special sizing and commissions, please reach out to us and we’d be happy to discuss a special size or potential commission for a new original work with the artist on your behalf. Tesoro will provide the artist creative guidance and will also facilitate any production, payment processing, and shipping requirements.

FRAMING

We offer custom framing services if the client opts for it. Unframed prints or canvas paintings are sent in a tube with a protective layer to avoid damage. All framed artworks are custom framed by hand and either crated or soft-packed, and shipped via our art crating partner or a standard courier company such as Bludart etc. Each piece arrives ready to hang with hanging wire already attached to allow for easy installation. The cost of mounting and framing is additional to the cost of the artwork.

SHIPPING

We are happy to ship artwork within India and to most international locations using local reliable vendors such as BluDart, DTDC etc. We prefer to send the canvas or paper artwork rolled instead of framed in case of international orders to avoid damage. The cost of shipping is additional to the cost of the artwork.

In the case of international shipments, once your order arrives in the country of destination, local guidelines apply and your order may be subject to import taxes and local duties. These taxes and duties are not included in your purchase price and are the responsibility of the customer.

There will be a packaging and shipping fee added to your order depending on the size of your piece(s) and where you would like your artwork shipped. ART RESTORATION

We have recommendations for the best restorers and can help coordinate this piece of your journey as an art collector. Tesoro will assist in restoring artworks purchased from us. Our vendors are trained and qualified to handle the valuable pieces of art works on canvas and paper.

BUY BACKS

Tesoro is also a platform for you to resell your artwork, whether it was purchased through our platform or not. Of course if the work were not purchased through us, we would require a certificate of authencity. We do not guarantee sales, but will feature the work on our platform and utilize all our resources to make the deal happen for you.
